Child sexual assault in
Indigenous communities – Read the Wild and Anderson 2007 report (Ampe
Akelyernemane Meke Mekarle, Little children are sacred) about child
sexual assault in Northern Territory Indigenous communities http://www.nt.gov.au/dcm/inquirysaac/.
The Federal Government has called the situation a national emergency and its
proposed intervention can be found at:

Government’s intervention is controversial and has raised concerns by
Indigenous and non-Indigenous groups and commentators. The Clearinghouse
